What is the going rate for the 'base' model?

There is no "base" model any more. They all come with the WM 10 module now. When they first introduced the CTX it was optional. The best thing to do is call around to as many dealers as you can and tell them up front that you are serious about buying one. You'll find out right quick who you can trust and who to stay away from by what they tell you is the lowest they can go. Some won't come off the MAP and some will by a considerable amount. I normally only deal with Richard @ Backwoods Detectors or Don & Van at North GA Relics. Richard normally has the best prices for what I have bought but because we are both in Tennessee, I get hit with the TN sales tax. Don and Van have always been fair priced but usually have to drop ship from their distributor.
