Need some input on a new shaft for the Excal.....

I've about had it with the factory S-rod that came with my Excalibur II. I know alot of guys like the "over-under" Anderson shafts, and I would just like to get some input from what some of the other Excal guys are using. The poles obviously arnt cheap especially the carbon fibre ones, which are lighter and stronger. But are they worth it?
