Wally or Tom is there a way to fix the usage limit error on the forum?

I'd be willing to donate some money if that would help to keep the forum up and running I'm sure other people on here would be willing to also.

Agreed. At times, it's not too bad. At other times, it's nearly unuseable due to this error...

database issue? seems to only affect forums not main website.

While this problems still persists the forum is basically unusable,still getting major problems.

I am now encountering severe "508 Resource Limit" problems also. I can only enter into this forum about 10% of the time.

Oddly it does not at all affect the home page and any other link, it's just the forums, so seems to be a resource issue tied to the forum software.

yeah their host has separate space limits on site and database. I suspect database has hit its size limit. But I'm a network guy and only speculating.

If this is indeed the case, then he would have to archive older posts either in compressed files or somewhere else.

Interestingly, I have had ZERO problems with the forum since this morning...

This site did not have a resource limit as it has been increased for this site, HOWEVER, this site is hosted on a so-called 'shared' server, numerous other websites (it used to be 14 other websites, now that info is hidden). IF one of those websites gets swamped with traffic, it 'limits resources' on the whole server, hence we suffer. I believe this problem has been addressed, I hope it doesn't continue because as of October 12, I will pay for another year of hosting. This website has been hosted by the same hosting company for 11 years, moving could take a few days as the IP directory would take a few days to catch up. Let's hope this problem has been fixed and that I won't have to change servers and host.

Seems like it was clogged up when the Equinox was announced and all the speculators were blabbing away.....all that hot air tanked the shared host
