Thanks Brandon. I wish it came out in the same condition as the 1901S you dug, but still, 1 of 56,000 minted, can't complain grinning smiley

We're trying to get back before the years over, hopefully swinging the Equinox, would be a killer site to see what it can do there, would be fun to find the first gold coin in the US with it smoking smiley

Not just this forum Hombre, all of them. Not a bad thing though in my opinion. I enjoy it. I can't help not reading theses forums, they are very helpful in many ways. But there are so many things that govern the success of any detecting trip. Not just a new detector. I've hunted the same sites many times over the years until they just weren't producing. Blamed it on my detector. Went back later, same detector, same settings same everything and loaded up on relics. Felt like I had a new machine. Seems like folks now jump from one detector to another in a heartbeat, or own a dozen different ones and don't quite fully understand any of them. Excuse me please, I'm just an ole fart set in my ways. smoking smiley
