Recommended Detecting Books

I've been away from the forums for awhile after moving to North Dakota. Here the Detecting season is short and so I'm interested in what books everyone recommends for the intermediate land detectorist. Sometimes it's nice to sit with a real book and I have plenty of time over the next five months to learn something new.

Hello l am not sure what kind of hunting you do coin,relic etc....if it's relics, Richard Walkers "Relics & Reminiscing" is a good read.. also one of the best Civil War reads is the personal account/diary of Sam Watkins "Company Aytch"... this book will open your eyes to the endurance/hardships these guys went thru during the Civil War......sure some of these guys on this forum have some good recommendations also HH joe
