Would you upgrade your original T2 or spend a little more...

And buy the Patriot?

I still own and use a original green T2,found me the most gold coinage over the years,have been tempted and looked at the various upgrades but as yet nothing has tempted me into changing,also have a Deus which if i am honest is gradually being used more and more mainly because of the weight factor or lack of weight i should clarify,but i wont ever part with mine has its paid for itself many times over.

Presumably the Patriot uses the F70/F75 coils, so you would have the option of CC coils, should that be important to you. But it also means that any accessory coils you may have for your T2 can't be kept to use on your new Patriot.

I think you're better off just keeping the T2 as is, and spend your money elsewhere.

if its an original T2 LTD I would keep it, original green I would update.
