Impressive for a self proclaimed Dues fanboy to say that the EQ800 is the only equal to his beloved Dues thus far. I'm interested to see his field testing in the wild, that should be really interesting.

He seems to really enjoy it. I never thought I would see the day he complimented another detector thats for sure. I have 50 hours of use on the EQ thus far and have some real interesting findings. My video will be out Monday along with settings. This machine has a sweet spot

2 questions... How do you like the XP pin pointer? My Garrett Carrot stinks. 1 year old gotta send it off to get worked on.
* Also what type of action camera do you use? Do you use a Head mount? Chest?

Personally I do not like the MI-6 you really can get lost in all the button clicks and it doesnt hit hard at all... My new favorite is the profind 35 it hits a lot harder then the original pro find.I use a gopro hero 5 chest mounted but have siñce made a new setup so I can mount a mic as well i will try and attach pic

Calabash has been cranking some very interesting videos on the 800. I appreciate his having guys who know the other machines run them to compare performance. It is too easy to unfairly sandbag a good machine by using mediocre settings, intentionally or unintentionally. I think the Equinox is very vulnerable to this because it is so different in various modes. But this has been true forever. I think this is, in part, why so many hate air testing. Calabash Digger has really helped me understand some things with his creative testing. If you haven't seen them, they are well worth a look. Diggs4ever and detectingMO's videos are worth a look as well! IMHO
