Playing around with the 8500

Disc 20 (small nails), Vol 7, notch vol 0 (full volume on iron), Deep 0 mode, D1 single tone and go to all metal mode to set the audio tone to A3 for the higher freq vco audio response which then carries over to D1 single tone.

These are the best settings I can find on my nail infested floor. I can crank the sens wide open in the house and the 7" F44 coil seems more than deep enough (lifting coil over partially masked target. The ID's jump from iron 36-37 to high coin testing on a dime but you always get the beep on the iron readings due to the disc set at 20 Can't wait for the snow to go away and put these settings to the test. Might even be able to raise the disc higher.
