3 hours in town with my MX Sport. Can the Equinox do this?

Scored a Minnie and two round balls today. The Minnie showed a VDI of 58. The damn machine even told me the calibre of the target! The round balls showed up as 65. Pretty close.

What happened on the hunt to make you think the Nox wouldn't find the same, they seem like pretty standard type finds??

Ha! That's pretty good! No, unfortunately, the Nox won't do that. Unless it's a "18" caliber minnie ball . Nice finds.

LOL---good one on the VDI # being same as the target, HOWEVER, NO Jokes allowed about a certain detector---the "Police" will label you "negative".

I think I did see an ad for the Equinox where it showed a 58... but no target was mentioned.
In California, our 58 Minnies are at Disneyland with their grandchildren.

That was actually funny though and meant to be funny, and was taken as a joke. Those Whites machines can count too...stack 2 quarters on top of one another and it will read 50.

The difference between this and the posts lately on here from some, is that this was actually a good natured joke and all in fun. The comments by some here in other threads might not have been meant to be taken like they were taken but to me, they have been smart A derogatory comments instead of jokes. Some, however, think that is funny too. I've never been one to make fun of other people or things, and it always irked me when people did it. Most of the fights I was in when in school, were sticking up for other people that were being bullied.

It's suppose to be a hobby and suppose to be fun. I don't know any that are professionals that compete in it for a living. I know quite a few that have made a living off selling the equipment though. If it makes you more productive in the field and you have fun with it, that's all that matters. I think think the root cause in all of this is that some have an extended case of cabin fever and just need to get outside. I hope that's what it is anyway

I got out again today. Found another roundball. This one is the deepest found on this site. 8". Just 2 hours but had fun and got some exercise. The MX Sport is a good all around detector for me.

Yes the MX Sport is a very nice detector. In fact, it was what I was going to go back to if the Equinox did not pan out for me. There were a couple times while I was in the waiting mode that I nearly cancelled my order and went with the Sport waterproof headphone package. I knew what it could do and liked it. Oddly, I never did take it hunting on a freshwater beach; just salt water.

Yep Daniel Your right about them Whites being able to count. Even My XL-Pro would do the 50 cent on 2 Quarter thing. I thought that was cool. I was Surprised the MX Sport did not take off? If I remember correctly the MX Sport videos and on the Forums got trolled as much if not more then the Nox? I would love to see Whites and Fisher come out with New killer machines for Nostalgia if nothing else as these are the two I cut My teeth on.
