Nice!!!

This is when I call it quits for relic hunting though, unless a special opportunity arises.

Nope not me. I'm just a leisure time detectorist. Once the 90 degree days and 90% humidity hits, the copperheads and ticks come out, and I'm done with relics. Usually it means the fields are overgrown or planted in crops too, and the woods so thick you can't walk thru them. It's not worth it for a few minies and occasionally a button. The humidity alone is a killer. Been in the 90s here the last several days. This is when I started water hunting last yr but other interests have me occupied at the moment.

Yeah My Family has a House and land in Alabama. My Moms Family is from Alabama,They have lived there pre- Civil War.
My Great,Great Grandpa fought for the 33rd Alabama. They are 12 miles from town way out in the Country. I toyed with Moving down there as at least have all the detecting sites I need and most land belongs to are Family so don't have to worry about No Detecting signs. But I hate the Heat and like being closer to civilization. Ha!
