If this detector does all its hyped up to do no question ill be getting one. The only problem is, it may put an end to going back and finding some goodies in our old hunted out sites. And those old sites are getting close to all we have left. What then?

Give it up & take up knitting!------Nah, I'll still be swinging a detector for the health benefits if nothing else.

More research to find new areas + hit the continually replenished sites (beaches).

New areas are falling into the few and far between area. And how much detector to you need in those replensished sites. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. eye popping smiley

Certainly we all have different levels of excitement on a given site, but I know that there are lots of untouched sites remaining. Maybe not as spectacular or not public/whatever. My current ToDo list has over 50 sites of varying size and quality within 2 counties of my home....all Publically owned. Have they been depleted? Maybe, but local hunting patterns that I see say probably not. Add to that all the houses that no one has permission on yet, and I honestly don't think I will live long enough to hit them all.
And I am always searching for Moar!

It like if you hold out for the prettiest girl in the world, youre probably never gonna get laid. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I know a old guy that said "the worse one I ever had, was the best I ever had"... A machine that will perform in the worse of sites is going to be welcome.

Ever since detectors came out people have been saying the same thing, and the same with prospecting, But for some reason people still make good finds, The only way to get it all is to take off the top 6 feet and run the lot through a screen and even then stuff will get missed,
