Will pick it up in the morning. It is a pulse with the ground balance . The tones are inverted in the GB mode. In straight pulse it is interesting to hear the sound iron signals make. Should be fun and cost less then other similar pulse units.

When you have something to share without the need for a secret decoder ring, I'm sure we'd all enjoy reading about it thumbs down

Im trying to decide if I should browse my bookshelf for my old copy of the Hobbit thinking some of these clues might be included in the exchange of riddles between Bilbo and Golum at the underground lake.

I think George is trying to say, "What have I got in my pocket?"

Only a guess of course.

Just one more good target before I go.

I think you'd be better off with the National Treasure movies instead of the Hobbit. Each clue begats another mystery and clue....the secret lies with Charlotte...that kinda stuff.

I'm more of a "$&it or get off the pot" kinda guy myself.

Not military or white TDI. May have similar performance at half the price. A creative cat may have improved on it. May is the key word.

Oh well, looks like my guess of the QED was wrong. And I was thinking the 'Cat' design reference was BugWhiskers, who used a cat as his avatar.

So, Sven, what is that unusual PC setup ? I've seen some similar rigs used as multi-channel CCTV video recorders with redundancy. That uses up a lot of HDD's. But there's no obvious video inputs on that rig ....

Hmmm, Calculating Pi. That would explain the lack of connections to external equipment.
I remember my 1974 Guinness Book of Records listing the Pi-computation record (just over 1 million decimal places), and describing the printed output as "the worlds most boring book", that was when it was viable to actually print it out.
An interesting read, and a surprisingly high number of HDD failures.

There's a wiki page on the history of Pi calculations:
