Looks to me like this detector could replace the Deus for most of the hunting.

Anyone know what the price will be?

I have read the manual.
What stand out???
Is this detector a Deus equivalent performance wise overall (discounting the only having fewer programs and slots) ?
I can’t say exactly.
The SILENCER setting seems is missing with ORX.
I would be leery if I lived in medium mineralized or higher soil area when purchasing.
Need to see some real test done, compared to Deus.
Fewer programs, are all the filters available with Deus available with ORX ?

Notice ORX is compatible with x35 coils, not the older LF coils.
And the headphones WSA not compatible with Deus.

So some marketing decisions made it seems with the non-compatibility issues as far as components.

Folks in milder soil like UK, ORX likely would find high majority of what Deus would find. Has potential.

Reminds me sorta of what White’s did with intro of Vx3.

The EQX likely a driver for ORX intro.

Really overall raw materials and R&D, no additional incurred here with ORX.

And if Xp would have dropped Deus prices to what ORX costs, it may have inflammed already Deus owners.

Xp is spinning the platform every which way they can. What is next you reckon??

Wasn't this detector developed mainly for the gold fields? If so that would be for very mineralized soil.

Maybe.
But gold field detectorist would be using higher freq.
A user of x35 coil may be relic or coin hunting with lower freq.
Don’t know how this will react vs Deus with no silencer setting/adjustment.

Less cost than Deus may mean less performance. I just don’t know,

4 options. Either round or elliptical coils without WS headphones selling in Europe 899.00. With headphones just over a grand.
