Hello Mike.
We do send the detectors almost fully charged and with the latest software update.
I cannot of course comment on the condition of the packaging as we send them on pallets to USA all in good condition.
Of course, they may get damaged sometimes during transition but nothing serious to damage the product inside.

Regarding the missing part, what do you mean you do not have the right headphones sent with the Gold Kruzer ?
We only have 1 wireless headphones at this point??

I am sorry that your purchasing experience has not been a pleasant one regardless of the fact that I cannot fault anybody specifically here.
Let me know if there is anything we can do to change your feelings.

Thank you!

Hello Nokta,

Looking at the Makro site.....Gold Kruzer is advertised to come with the Green headphones and charging cable.

The Gold Kruzer I received came with the Blue Headphones and no charging cable.

The headphone charging cable I was sent to replace my missing headphone charging cable is for the Green Headphones that are supposed to come with the Gold Kruzer.

The Green Headphone charging cable does not work with the Blue Headphones. I had to go buy a charging cable to work with the Blue headphones in order to use the detector.

..........

Mike

Post Script:

You know....looking at Ebay there are lots of Gold Kruzer's being advertised with the obsolete Blue headphones so at first I was being lead to think I got old stock with missing parts. But since the operating manual that came with my unit specifically calls out Green headphones I know I got snookered, if not by you, then by your distributor.

I bought the missing part. The Blue headphones appear to work. The detector is operational. What you want to do at this point is totally up to you.

Mike

Mike, your unit may be one of the earlier ones that the distributor had in stock and shipped out - please understand that we are not preview to this info.
To be honest with you the Blue HPs are the same as the Green ones except for the fact that they will not work with the PulseDive.
If the HPs is the only thing left at this point making your purchasing experience a negative one, we will resolve it for you. I will send an email to you.

Thanks for the link Mike. Looks like a story of Nokta’s typical fast-moving product improvement, taking advantage of the rapid pace in the area of wireless headphone design by using the current best available as things change. I noticed on Steve Herschbach’s forum that his test review of the gold Kruzer had blue phones - seems like the change from blue to green occurred after they had shipped some quantities of the G. Kruzer.

Green, blue, shouldn't be a big deal as long as they work.

Would it matter if one planned on using a PulseDive? Does it matter that the machine is
advertised as coming with Green Phones to work with PulseDive?
As I said before, I hate to see someone get had!
SkiWhiz looks like you are in the clear but I do believe the distributor, whom ever it was,
pulled a switch-a-roo on these phones but failed to swap all the parts and did not realize
that different charging cables were used.
Still SMH..

I've had my say now I'll tap out.

I know that I said that I was done with this thread, and will be after this last post.

Mike did Not order from Makro/Nokta, he ordered from me. This is my exact words to him -

Makro Gold Kruzer Waterproof Metal Detector + 2 Coils + Wireless Headphones + Nokta Waterproof Pointer + Baseball Cap + Digger (shown below when you add to cart)
Retail: $749.00
MAP: $636.65
Your Price: *** delivered.
Makro Gold Kruzer Waterproof Metal Detector is waterproof to 5 meters. This High Frequency version operates at 61kHz for gold nugget prospecting. Ships complete with GK26C 10" x 5.5" Search Coil and a GK19 7.5" x 4" Search Coil and wireless headphones. 2 Year Warranty. Built in Recharge System.

And this is the picture that my distributor has of the package
[i64.tinypic.com] and if you google Makro Gold Kruzer you will see that the blue phones are pictured. No where in my description does it state that green headphones are included. I haven't asked yet but am going to find out if the blue and the green headphones take the same charging cord, my guess that they do but as I said I will find out for sure. So after 4 pages of threads on a missing charging cable am going to tap out as well.

Well, somebody owes somebody $6 or so. It’s just a USB cable, nothing special.

Mike tell us about the Gold Kruzer and what you think about it.

I used the Gold Kruzer for a summer fresh water hunting and I wish I still had it. I'm using the Equinox 800 and XP Orx in the water now.
