Glad to see the site is back up

Lost a week end with forum data error message. I assume everyone was off line, not just me. Everything else worked fine. Glad the problem was fixed.

I'm also glad to see the forum back. I have been a member for many years but mostly check out the posts that I think will benefit me in my detecting. I really missed Dankowskidetectors. Didn't realize how much I visit here!

I took a picture of the error message and sent it to RodPa and asked him if he's getting the same....he said yes, same message. Now we're back, good deal.

Glad the Sites up and going. To be honest thought maybe it was my system. I use Firefox, which is overall faster, but some Sites don't load correctly.....this is one of them..LOL

Heck, I thought I had been the one to break it.

I have several “keyboards” available on my iPad and one of them - Norwegian - causes fits with the forum. I am happily typing - not noticing that I have selected Norse - not English - and if I don’t hit any funny keys - it looks one. then I go to post and I girt that Phorum error message.

Well - it happened and I couldn’t fix it, so I got clever and dis a screen shot of my post and put it up as a picture

Wow, within minutes the forum was broken. Yikes!!

It is operating but the format makes all the topics and post to be jumbled. I'm on Chrome and Internet Explorer...Android platform and Windows 10. It's the same on both.

Here is how it looks on my end.

I have two lap tops...one with Windows XP and a 2019 Dell with Win 10. It's like that on both of them. Looks the same on my phone as well. It's not the same as what it was a few weeks ago. Everything looks jumbled together.

Mine is screwed up as well on my computer..... but NOT my Iphone. Must be a setting anyone figured it out yet??? Went thru the forum settings ... which isnt the issue... it appears. BUT.... this is hard to look at and follow. Ive "flipped" all the control center switches... even signed in and out... same problem. Im using mozilla web broswer.

I opened Internet explorer.... its ok so it appears to be our browser.

OK>..... i got it. I went into the browser TOOLS under page INFO..... then SECURITY..... then CLEAR the cookies and site data. That will log you out...... once you log back in its all good.

Both my phone and computer look funky, doesn't matter if I use Explorer or Chrome browser. Tried clearing cookies and still the same.

It's still all messed up on my phone. Tried clearing the cache, history, cookies, etc. Downloaded two other browsers and it's the same way on those.

Interestingly though, on my newest laptop with Win 10, it is messed up with Chrome but Microsoft Edge browser it is fine. I guess I will use that browser to come here and read the forum because it is horrible trying to cipher it out on the other systems. MS Edge on my phone, it is still messed up.

Edit: After logging on once with Edge, it is now like the others. Everything jammed together.
