Awesome stuff. I love those Carolina swamps.

I cruised through on the Intracoastal Waterway a couple of times back in the late 80's and did some exploring up the creeks. It's a beautiful area.

I would be scared to death of snapping turtles in that water even though it's probably perfectly safe to dive.

A friend of mine was diving in some murky water just like that and came across the skeleton of a horse. It totally freaked him out.

Maybe one hunt you'll pull out one filled with gold coins. . .. You'd need a winch to get it to the surface
