Park 1 used.
So, if we compared vlf detectors using same size/shape coils on this test. Would the better performers also be better performers on nail board test or similar test ?
Enjoy the video

Great videos as usual. A couple of observations :

1) Make a video where you can show us that you put a silver Washington quarter on the seat of a '57 Chevy. And show us that you get a clean signal on the quarter. Now THAT is "un-masking" >grinning smiley<

2) Stop 'dissing Etracs & Explorers angry smiley

3) But in all seriousness, you were enough distance from the pole that : Many machines could do what you did. Seeing as how you got so close to the coin (ie.: hovering only an inch above the coin). I have wrested with the same task, knowing that people tend to set their personal belongings next to fixed objects. Such as putting their knapsack, their beach towel, their cell-phone, etc.... Next to the beach volleyball upright pole. And if that pole is metal, then yes, that presents a problem. But an experienced users can de-tune, use smaller coils, listen for "spikes" in the signal, etc....

Evidently you didn't pay attention or couldn't see.
Dime was swept at respectable distance from coil.
See this pic.

Curious as to what the six inch coil would do in that scenario.

Ok, I stand corrected. It looked like you were right over the dime . But the toe of your coil was not touching the coil. So if this test were to mimic trying to get targets next to an up-right metal volleyball pole, you'd need to be a foot away from the pole, to begin to have a fighting chance, to replicate your results here, eh ?

Equinox will detect dime in video (6") coil height above dime at a distance of little less than 7.5" of iron pole using park 1 F2 iron bias setting of 4.
Next video will infact show this plus small coil will be shown to see what can be gained.
