Technical question here for NASA-Tom - subject Vlf SMF tx power

So small current is used generally when transmitting.
Question does amount of transmiit power, the max amount that can be used effectively and produce desired results with SMF vlf metal, detector, is this maximum level the same across the board?
For example dirt hunting ops, higher mineralized soil dirt hunting and Wet salt sand and in sea water detecting as well as black sand. ? ???

David.............. that's actually more of a good engineering concept/thought.
But............ as of right now.,.,.,.,.,.,., transmit power in multi-frequency mode(s)........ is linear across the board. ((Receive 'gain' is a different story!!))

I was under the impression that certain Beach/Black sand modes on some models used a reduced TX power. Deus has it. It seems that having it adjustable in certain conditions would be helpful, like in clean low mineral ground, high EMI or tall vegetation cover. Definitely an "expert" setting.
