Iron

So I was reading up on the legend about the iron filter and with a low setting like 3 how it can unmask non ferrous targets next to or even on top of iron. You will get a good tone and then a iron tone. I see how you try to isolate the higher tone. Wonder if you get a hit like that if turning up the recover speed will isolate that better. I know you lose depth but once you get the hit I don’t think that will matter. I also wonder if on other high end detectors having no discrimination or all metal would have the same effect?
