Back to basics, so to speak

Traded my Equinox 600 for a Tesoro Vaquero and it is nice using a simple but effective beep & dig detector again. It is deep (really deep if ground balanced a bit negative) and very sensitive. I've always been a little partial to Tesoro dectors, they just seem to be fun to use.

Have fun. Beep & Dig will give you a better ear for any other detector.

Those little Tesoro's just find keepers period. Great little detectors and a joy to swing all with just one 9 volt that lasts forever it seems.

Tesoro's are great detectors. My Tejon is in my top 3 detectors for relic hunting.

Heck, I've pretty much done the same thing. I'm back to a T2 and MXT. I have the Manticore too but it gets used least of the 3.

Actually with the Vaquero I could tell when there was a pencil eraser in the ground by the sound. The Tesoro machines have the best audio systems that I know of.

nothin' wrong with using a "well learned" Tesoro!...the 'audio" speaks tons!

this is true! audio modulation at depth is very telling! smooth, and 'round" sounding!
anticipation factor is off the charts!

I'm back to basics as well. Much more fun.
Would have liked to have an Outlaw/ 3 coils again. Harder to find and asking prices way to high.
So I have been enjoying my DeepTech Vista X with 3 coils.

DeepTech Vista X with 3 search coils.
Works for me
