And fun. And informative. Snobby people are neither.
Some of the older units have useful features more modern ones do not, or are hidden & not User adjustable. All in all, I think we are currently living in the "Golden Age" of detectors. It's a good thing because the "Golden Age" of loaded virgin sites will never return.

I still run an FBS unit along with my Deus 2, I don't think my Explorer will ever be obsolete, as long as my shoulder and back hold out. smiling smiley

Those old analogs though have a language all there own that a digital just can not match to my old ears anyway.

Nothing beats the sound of my old Garrett Deep Seeker when it groooooooooaaans over a deep artillery shell.Aaaaah to do it all again.
