I will just say you gotta give it to Garrett on this new coil design

If the AT did not have that Awesome coil it would be a lot less detector....Now they have built a smaller version of the same blunt tipped coil instead of rehashing the 5x10 scorpion coil which is what I was afraid they were going to do for the small DD platform after seeing the sniper coil fiasco...

They are getting really serious about there detector design's....These blunt tipped DD coils are very cutting edge...awesome depth and great separation ...

I believe when Garrett is done they will have a totally revamped line working off there awesome DD coil as standard....

I wonder if that design is patented? I doubt you can patent a shape as all detectors have a similar shape.

I wonder what my V3i would get with that blunt design DD coil?
Makes one wonder about other coil shapes yet tried...
