In the silent masking part of your video, where did you have the discrimination set at when waving the piece of metal over the coil and not getting a response?

Disc was on '0'..... no discrimination.... as demonstrated in the video,,,,,, as I also passed a nail over the coil so you could hear that I was not discriminating any iron. Then I passed the piece of iron oxide over the coil..... and the detector remained silent.
