Those copper rings WERE (at one time) gold plated. Very common procedure for costume jewelry. Still.......... get's your heart going! Nice video.

That "copper" plumbing find in the first part of the video looks like a keg spigot
minus the valve handle. A fairly common find here in the east. They were used and passed on from one generation to another. They were made from brass and pewter. Some may be date to the colonial period.
