Anybody try the Ultimate Detech 13 on the F75?

Maybe I'm the only one who likes Fisher's big white 15" but it is awfully heavy. I understand that the 13" Detech is much lighter and may offer a similar depth advantage compared to the stock coil.

Used my F75ltd on many hunts with 11'' inch stock coil and my deepest coin was at 7 inches (wheat penny). Dug a 7 1/2'' wheat penny on my very first hunt with 13'' Detech. Didnt dig anything deeper than that on the rest of my hunts( 4 total ). I used the 15'' coil a for a few hunts and didnt find anything that my 11'' stock coil wouldnt have gotten. Ground coverage was awesome with it but in the end the weight burned me out too fast. I wouldnt trade the 13'' Detech for stock 11'' or 15'' coil in an open field hunt.

My time with both non stock coils is limited, so take this review lightly. However, its an honest review.

I use a 13" Ultimate coil on my T2se. It's got depth over the stock coil. I dug some 1/2 cents that were 10" deep easily. The depth monster is the 12"/15" SEF coil. That thing is deep. I dug a 13" minnie ball with it last spring. Both of the coils have great coverage too. HH

This UK detectorist likes it on the Tek T2. The coins described are: 1806 penny = 30mm bronze; 1930 sixpence = 50%-silver dime-equivalent; Lizzy half-groat = small thin silver hammered coin (Elizabeth 1st two-pence).

I tried one on my Etrac.
It did run quieter than the stock coil.
Auto sensitivity averaged 2-3 numbers higher than the stock coil.
Used the 13" coil for 3 weeks and never found a coin deeper than the stock coil found.
One positive note, the coverage is better and works good in open areas with little trash.
Ended up selling in the end.
