I'm almost positeive that my G2, in stock mode, was air testing a dime at 11 or so inches. Greg, is your unit at full sensitivity???

I have a Gold Bug Pro I am going to try the same test on tomorrow. I did post a X-Terra Video also.

I tried it again and I got the pretty close to the same results using the Gold Bug Pro, this time I turned the coil sideways and tested the dime I got 6 1/2, I also have a Rosey burried at 7" and the G2 would not pick that up. Both coins where buried at the same time.
I hit a barrier on my coin dates 1965, I am going to try the GBpro where I found a Franklin. With the Sef.
I had good results with the 705 as you cam see in video.

SEF coils don't seem to perform to well. At least not that size. We always wonder if we got a badly wound coil when we get those results but when you see the performance repeated across mfgs you can pretty much tell it wasn't that one single coil.

I'm pretty sure I get better results than that with the 5 inch coil

AMC, you can find a couple of my posts here and several at FM, showing that I have been using the 13" Ultimate coil on my G2 for 3 months and I get about 2" increased depth in my mild soil.

I agree with sekypaleo , I find the 13 easy to swing and deeper than stock although i have not hunted as much
as i like this season.
My GB SE can hit a nickle at over 10 inches with 5 X 10 coil and over 11 inches with the 13
with Disc of 30 max Sens . a Merc around 10 inches

If in All Metal i can go off the paper with the 5 x 10 and a nickle, and a easy 13 plus with the 13 inch coil
