Ok, was guessing it was best in all metal, will it detect micro gold in disc too 
. Right now I'm thinking I'll get a Gold Bug II for fresh water hunting in N. Michigan. I decided this year I'm going to do a lot of hunting for gold. Yes it's nice finding an Indian head or buffalo nickel. Hard to find in northern Michigan. I'm lucky if I find 3 Indian heads and 1 buffalo in a year. So I thought I could do better going for gold on the beaches.
