S & J Waterbury CT: Eagle Cuff Button

.Scovill MF'G CO . Waterbury Eagle Cuff Button

Can't seem to find them in my Warren K Tice 1776 - 1865 button book - too many listed with too many diff patterns / etc. but I'm sure they're 1850s/60s??

Any help from a button expert greatly appreciated

thanks in advance

MRH

PS

The S & J button with the "CT" mark isn't listed at all - could it been an unknown??

I, too, feel that it is World War 1, I found two of them. One still has ALL the gold gilting. Look just like that one with the globe over the top of the eagle. great find!!
