Yuri, to answer your question, the GB II is hard to come by right now. Most units have been sold and Fisher has not started a new production run. Seems there is another gold rush in Africa, so I have been told. Your best bet is probably a used unit on EBay if you can find one.

I heard Fisher in not going to produce anymore GB 2 s. Too bad, nothing else is as good for small gold. JMO

Dealers are being told more Gold Bug 2s will be available in August. Some dealers still have inventory available.

Not sure what you mean by permanent? Dealers are being told more new units will come online in August. Distributors appear to be sold out so whatever is still left out there new is what is on dealer shelves.

I was just wondering if limited availability is going to be a permanent state of affairs. I suspect it will be low production numbers even when it's back? And what with so much going to Africa, glad I at least got one!
