EuroTek coils?

Have a question on EuroTek coils, not too familiar with the new Teknetics or fisher models and needing to know which coils work with the new EuroTek models.

Appreciate all comments, thanks for opening the post.

Thanks Keith,

Appreciate the coil info, that is great news plenty of various size coils to work with.

Haven't seen the inside circuitry yet and thinking of getting one, hoping it has a GB mini trimmer pot and if it does may replace it with an outer GB pot.

The detector has allot of positive features, adding on a manual GB would enhance it even more especially if the GB carries over to disc mode that would be extreamly terrific.

Thanks again,

You will likely find the master ground-balance trimmer will upset the target ID values, particularly at the high-conductor end. This is because the microprocessor doesn't know about your adjustment, it just performs the same math as before.

Thanks Pimento,

Appreciate the GB information, Good to know target ID values may be effected adding on a manual GB. I view this as positive, If the ID values are effected after conducting a manual GB in all-metal mode then the GB does carry over to the discrimination side. Many if us are not really sure if GB carries over to disc side, So that would be a positive indicator if target values are effected.

Plus, If the high conductive end is effected more so than the lower conductive end that too would be ok especially for relic hunting. As a Relic hunter I dig all signals above iron so if high conductive ID values are effected that's ok as long as the lower conductive end isn't effected.

Plus, With a manual GB one can still adjust the pot back to stock settings allowing target values to ID normally. Adding a manual pot could still be a plus, As long as the lower conductive end isn't effected too much. Otherwise iron in the high range would ID as low conductive or super low conductive may ID as ferrous.

Thanks again for the information,
