hi there.....
how come there are no comments to this guy?
--I feel this machine is very underrated versus f75-----
while doing some testing I found the machine to be cool.calm and extremely
powerfull.
It seems that the threshold control is able to boost sens/gain without loosing
the grip.....
It does a better job in identifying steel bottle caps -- with low sens and
thresh.3 it blows the f75 away on surface and turf detecting----

more to come

I beg to differ with you being that I had both and now have the F75 and the new LTD coming...I found the F75 in calif to trump the F70 and if you use the 10 inch coil on the F75 it does a better job on caps...Turf hunitng in Calif the F75 is deeper and better in iron that is where I live so I can only speak for myself

WHEN IDENTICAL COILS are used, the original F75 & F70 perf are nearly identical. They both have nearly the same electronics.

--thank you both for confirming my opinion on the f70....
the importance of being able to adjust and fine tune the power on the f75
made me more alert on how to do it on the f70....
--here in my type of dirt and with my way of hunting i find the f70 to be
more controllable ,more quiet, and and with better adjusting abilities in disc mode
than i find on the f75........
happy hunting and good luck to you all

trond,

What you are experiencing is more than likely the exact design intent of the F70 vs the F75. Thanks for the report!
