Looks like Tesoro is coming out with a new detector

I talked to Tesoro this week about a tone up grade and they said are not doing them any more. He also said the golden was not coming back and they were focusing on a "couple" of new machines.

Wow. I am totally surprised by this! I wonder when and why they changed their minds??

Well......I just bought an absolutely mint "new tone" Golden Micro max a short time ago.---Got the "stick coil" (3 X 18 CSC), 9 X 8 & 8" concentrics for it also.-----I guess I better hang onto that one.----Maybe it's going to go the way of the Sunray X-1. (grin)

wonder if theyve stripped down a deus to get some ideas ??

It would make more sense to reverse engineer a GoldMaxPower or GMAXX, really. Being 'mostly analog' they are more Tesoro's kind of machine. Though I think the bones of how they operate is quite different to just about every other differentiator-based VLF machine on the market.
