2013 Ghost town digs.

Here is some of the items found at an old ghost town site. This site dates back to the 1830's. I have only covered a small portion of the site. I gain permission from the other property owner to search his part of the town site also.. All items found with the F75 and Etrac. I have a box of other relics like old ax heads, some toasted shield nickels and several more toasted IH's and other odd and ends. I put togeather a display case for the owner, I gave him some buttons,LC, IH's, and a couple of 3 ringers. He was surprised that i found what I did. My favorite find so far was the cut 1/2 Reale(in a bed of nails) and a KG 1/2 penny. The 2 FE cents and the V I found a couple of weeks ago is from this same town site. they were found on the neighbors property that I have permission to search too, along with the school,store and railroad depot and railroad tunnel. I have found 4 1/2 Reales here and I hope to find that elusive gold coin here also.

It is a good learning site, tons of iron in patches. I find myself going back in forth in different grid patterns and digging things you may not normally think about digging and it has payed off.
