NEL Tornado for AT Pro

Just got the NEL Tornado coil, I won't be able to get out with it until the weekend but I did a little simple air testing in the house using a well worn 1923 Mercury dime.

There's no standard for airtests but my numbers are for what I would judge to be a potentially diggable signal, measured to the closest half inch with GB at 75. Tests were strictly audio, no VDI numbers recorded.

NEL TORNADO FOR THE AT PRO 12X13 COIL:
7 bar: 11.5"
4 bar: 9"

GARRETT AT PRO STOCK 8.5X11 COIL:
7 bar: 10.5"
4 bar: 8"

GARRETT AT PRO 5X8 COIL:
7 bar: 9"
4 bar" 7.5"

No EMI that I could hear with any of the coils at 4 bar sensitivity. At 7 bar, very slight EMI with 5X8, a little more with the 8.5X11, and a little more still with the 12X13.

The NEL coil hit with a high tone virtually until the signal dropped off. The two Garrett coils lost high tone sooner before the signal drop off.

Despite the size difference, the stated weight of the Tornado is practically the same as the 8.5X11 stock coil so I'm hoping no negative ergonomic difference.
