I had a friend who remodeled an old jewelry makers business into a dormitory and found almost 2 pounds of 14k gold in the old sewer p-traps--that was sanitary compared to what this guy is shown doing with his bare hands

Hygiene wise, 47th St. Isn't too bad - it's the diamond district after all. If you ever go to NYC, it' swell worth a visit - just to see the Dealers (mostly Hasidic Jews) doing deals on the sidewalk using their secret "finger lanuuage" to negotiate.
