Just take it a bit slower to swing that small coil and use BP if you can and turn down your sens a bit if trashy or nails and iron. They will fool you but I found some good stuff mixed in.

yes you are correct!..you have to slow down your sweep to get the best separation.i don't have a 75 l.t.d
so no "bp" mode,however this also pertains to the 75 as well!..turning down "gain" is a solid tip because the detector
won't create confusion by responding to tiny "bits" of trash,allowing "better",more solid "hits" to be heard!
