I got it back yesterday only to find out, they sent me a brand new unit in box. The unit is dated 1-15 and I am pleased with it's performance, so far. All fringe repeatables. 99 sens bp

Notice that Im hitting harder on nickels which I am very happy about. To me, this shows a marked improvement from the 11-14 because it's a high frequency machine and it should hit hard on low conductors. Not too much of an improvement on the dime and quarter(this was expected) but, I know there will be a dramatic difference in my next set of tests.

What did you send them to upgrade in the first place????
I'm still not sure, why the two (9.0 and 9.1)??
Does the manual shed any light which is better for what situation, etc???

I sent it in because I had the "mama bug" and my depth was lacking and my modes seemed switched. From what the manual says, 9.0 is the DST mode(stops digital interference (cell phones and such)). 9.1 is the original f75(put there in case people didnt like the DST).

How long did it take once it was sent to get it back. I had quite a few in front of mine. I think 40 units. Glad to hear about the improvements can't wait to get mine back

20 days for me. Shipping 3 business days each way. But there was two holidays and they were out most of the week of new years. 2-3 weeks total is probably good estimate. basstrackers took closer to 4 weeks but his shipping was longer

Have you tested the new unit and if so did you gain much depth?

Mine reached Fisher on 12/19/2014, no return tracking number yet.

Mine was there on dec 18th and it came back this tuesday ..

Yes, disc is still great. Was before. Pinpoint bug is gone and all metal is an 1-3" deeper. most noticible is on nickel and depth it punches before signal fade. probably another inch or 2 more if i was out of emi and testing faint waiver like keiths video. i very satisfied.
