Yes please let us know how you do when you are kind of new to the game you tend to dig more and your finds go up...I hope you have a pin pointer not everyone uses them but for me it really makes it more fun. If the detector you get was not the right match for you...we have all sold and bought different detectors till we get it right...You will be reading a lot about the Racer in the next few months then it will die down till the next detector hits the market

i have a tip for you!..purchase a 5.3 eclipse coil for your mxt!
then go "wade" into the trash filled parks!.bet you will be pleasantly surprised!
i have a mx-5 (same family) and do well with the little coil attached!..terrific
'coin sniper" in the junk!..i'm just sayin'..best of luck!

Thanks everyone, I always wanted an MXT back when I had my DFX. Its the pro model and it is coming with 6x8 SEF and 9.5 and 12 concentrics. I am guessing the 6x8 will be the main one. But a 5.3 in the trashy parks would be great to have as well. Because I could not make up my mind I also have a Teknetics T2 SE with the DST mods coming as well. It was used but just got upgraded in December and comes with three year warranty. It also comes with the 5" shooter coil.

So let the battle begin - Whites vs. Teknetics - MXT Pro vs. T2 SE2. I will probably do the typical air test shoot out - but with a twist - just read Steve Herschbach's article about Metal Detector testing methods - taking his advice to heart - and it will be more of a learning session /comparison vs. a true shootout.
