Reactivity: 03

Audio resp: 04
Ground balance: 87

Same test, in the end of the video there is the three tone.

Very impressive video.. Does better than most with small coils.. I would love to see how the 5x10 coil does..

Info So far...great unmasking ability.....excellent Depth......small coil flagship deep with best unmasking ability.......very stable on wet sand........can hit a low conductivity coin through 13 inches of bad dirt......built in light...vibrating handle........and it's a Bargain from a company that seem dedicated to customer service!

I bet they will sell a bunch of these Makro racers with a specs like those.

Hi,,,I like to see a pull tab,beaver tail or some other similar conductivity item put between them nails....Better yet set the machine up to knock out a tab then put a penny there..........JJ

Sorry, dont have any of your pennies in my possession.

After numerous tinkering with the Deus settings, i could make the Deus perform a little better at the test, but still the Makro racer seems so much better in this test..

and a 9 Inch coil.

Of course the 9 inch coil would help, but i was making a comparison between somewhat similar sized coils.

There are 10x5" coil coming for Xp deus that would be nice to test, but also a little bit too expensive to buy for my tastes.

Hi Etsija82,,,,hey I finally got to see your video....Disregard my post about the pull tab etc....I really appreciate you doing this, it was a short straight to the point video..... The only thing I would of liked to see was the ID numbers.....Thanks.....JJ

Id numbers are not that good in my opinion, atleast when sweeped in an angle towards the nails. Irony places doent give good id numbers for coin like objects or other relics, so you just have trust the tone and dig everything that's above iron range.

Do not trust the id numbers, tone is the one to trust, just like with the Xp deus.

JJ,
The ID numbers on a racer/core in a hard/difficult separation scenario will not be exact/steady, can be low/high. With repeated sweeps in those type scenario the numbers on some sweeps will be better (more accurate) than other sweeps. But remember the nonferrous is giving tone with those detectors, not so with many other detectors with similar/like sized coils.

Hi TSS,,,,do you realize how many pull tabs,beaver tails etc...I would have to dig in a park scenario with them settings?....It would be good for a field etc. in a dig all situation but my modified machines still will win out....But not in the speed department....Need more data to totally confirm this statement I made..So the jury is still out..........JJ

JJ, you are forgetting about DI3. It has tone break, tab i.e. give mid tone not high. This is what Jack is using and is why he uses it. And to say small can slaw for whatever reason can be heard say in the deciphering/nuance of audio, plus the units tend to give fluctuating TID on lower quality metals. unlike coins.

PS: Use three tone mode for this test,, report the tone the tab made then the tone the penny makes..............

Tell you what, maybe we can talk Keith into doing his nail board test again and video. Using both 2 tones and 3 tones all done with a penny and a pull tab. I don't have the exact setup as the OP, so my test may be faulty. The nail board test would be better imo.
