Got these beauties for my Makro racer:

These sounds nice with the Makro racer and also the built quality is top notch.

Very heavy duty curled wire and a 90 degrees stereo plug, that seems to be made entirely from metal. The wire is also removable, so you can get a replacement for the headphones.grinning smiley

Has anyone becides me and Jack Flynn ordered a set of Skiwhizz 600 ohm headphones? I have a set of Bumble Bee 300 ohm that sound really good. Can't wait to see what a 600 ohm set sounds like.

Headphones for the FORS is a critical choice to success with it...
It can be a lousy unit with the wrong headphones!!

So I am taking the same approach with the 'Racer' Didn't even take the cheap Koss set out of the packet it had been shipped with.
On a daily basis I'm selecting a different set including: Sony, Koss, Predator, Sennheisser, Troy.

SkiWhizz on this forum makes them. Jack Flynn says they are the best he has used. I ordered me a set.

I would toss a duck with the Koss ones, that came with the Racer. I will trust the maker of Chefphones more, when the maker of these headphones says he has at least 37 years of metal detecting experience under his belt, so he may know thing of two about good sounding headphones..grinning smiley

These Cp2 headphones sounds similar to the Nugget busters i have, but not as harsh sounding...so more easier for my ears.
