Finds for 2015 so far...

I found 3 gold rings on a lucky streak in Jan. and posted about those already.
A silver streak started after that so I hope this my year of great streaks...the kind where I keep my pants on at all times.
Not only that, but I found a Dragoon cuff button smack dab in the middle of a public park and a small square nail from one of the crates they might have burned in a campfire plus a few bits of older and unrecognizable iron.
This might be just a path they took riding through the area or hopefully a possible unknown Dragoon campsite that only I know about...now that is luck.
Can't do the digging required to really search this area being in a public park, but I hope to find a few more relics if they are there on future visits.
The silver dime in the pic was found at another heavy iron and trash infested site using the high power all metal blast through method I practiced and got pretty good at last summer.
Nice to know that this technique works at more than one site.
Except for one silver ring and one of those quarters, all these were found using the standard 10" elliptical coil.
This coil has impressed me and will get more use this year for sure, along with the big DD and the 5" DD sniper.
This F70 is still amazing me in what it can do.
I will still continue learning it this year, but if this is what I can find in just the first few weeks of spending time just hunting with a couple of favorite settings this is a great sign for hopefully great things to come.
