Green Indian head value?

I've dug quite a few Indians the past couple years and a few are in really good shape. I'm wondering how much does the green patina devalue these. Here are a few of my best.

Wow! You have a beautiful tribe there! Seriously, those coins are in very nice shape. Unfortunately, most dealers scoff at our green Indian head pennies. Case in point, I had a '67' Indian head almost as nice as yours. I sold some of my silver and tokens last year to fund my daughter's 16th birthday party, and ended up getting $40 out of the penny. XF for that coin is well over $100, and although I'm fairly ignorant to grading coins, I'd bet yours would grade higher. I would expect an offer of $50 or less for your coin at a dealer due to the"environmental damage" Personally, I kind of like that patina. My advice, save em'! They can only go up in value.

I've only gotten rid of 2 Indian heads I've ever found and wish I would have kept them.
One was an 1877 that I sold 20 years ago for $90 and the other was an 1864 Lribbon
that I traded for a seated quarter in AU condition.

I have always loved the Indian heads when they come out of the ground with a beautiful green patina. Jeff

When I look closely at the photo of the 97 it looks almost uncirculated to my untrained eye.

Hi,,nice Injun's, I once read that some collectors/dealers will pay a premium for some with a nice patina on them...I try to focus on these type/shape of coins and hunt accordingly...........JJ
