It's GONE!

I have been going out several times doing a helter skelter hunt just to see where the ground is frozen in the places I hunt. Well after having above freezing temps for a week I am glad to announce that hunting season is now on for me. It was a very harsh winter for most of us this year and boy it feels good to be able to finally go where I want and be able to dig below two inches. Now let the good times roll. Last night helped a great deal too. We had some very heavy thunder storms and some of the heaviest rains I haven't seen since last summer. That ought to really loosen up the soil. Now if the silver would only migrate to the surface I would be a very happy camper.

Frost "upheaval" will push much of the stuff you wish to find towards the surface ;-)

All that snow and freezing has to be good for something MichiganRelicHunter!

Oh it is. You make a nice big snowball and wing it at the plow driver as he buries the end of your driveway.:-)
