Not much info other than the picture and size 6.5 x 3.5 but it should be a killer in the iron

Coil design does not get as much attention as the box it connects too. But from reading and experience coils can and do change how machine works in dramatic ways and a killer coil makes for a killer machine. I suspect if the Racer did not have the 5 inch coil we would have a lot less talk about the Racer.

A large coil can have it advantage, like when on a large open flat beach.

I prefer and use the 15.5x13.3" DD Search Coil from a Fors Gold on a Racer when beach hunting because it can GB and run quiet on wet sand all the way to water edge............ eye rolling smiley

When you said 'Snake' coil, my ears perked up and I was thinking, "Finally someone has made another long, narrow coil, along the lines of the Cleansweep or Bigfoot style. Pretty disappointed to find out that its just another small coil.

Did you also see they are working on a 3 Freq coil for the X-Terra I'm thinking it will probable have a switch on it some how.

It switches frequency by touching 2 brass contacts with a 9 volt battery

Are you getting three very good coils in one or three marginal coils?
