What's the best book about detecting you've read?

What's the best book about detecting you've read?

My choice would be the one where the author uses a White's 5900 or 6000 and shows a bunch of targets which would fall into each segment. Eye opening for sure.

Dan's article 'Beneath The Mask' is awesome. Lots of eye opening stuff.

Forgot to mention the classic 'Successful Coin Hunting' by Charles Garrett

If you are referring to "Taking a Closer Look at Metal Detector Discrimination" by Robert C Brockett
it is an excellent book. It should be required reading.

The best book..... is this forum, you can learn from all the hunters, relearn learn what you may have forgotten and find out about a lot of machines new and old and inbetween.

Successful Coin Hunting' by Charles Garrett I have a signed copy, when I get my new computer will post a picture, maybe someone can confirm if real or if my friend was pulling my leg smiling smiley when he gave me the book.

Some of the books mentioned are real old school, too many books on a specific unit to mention but all in all ask a question on this forum and get up to date info especially on the newest units coming out comes to mind...
