If I link to photobucket it shows the pic, but then it links to my account and every pic there can be seen. I don't like that.

I've noticed that, too. If you embed the pic (with the IMG tag) then it works OK, but a link (URL tag) directly to the pic seems to redirect to a html page, with borders, links to all your other pics, albums blahblah. Annoying. I'm sure it didn't do that a couple of months ago.

Here's a test. This is a link to the actual jpg image on Jack Flynn's recent thread:

Hover your mouse over it, see the address show up in your browser, it's just the jpg image. But try clicking on it and it redirects to this page:

which as you can see is different.

Login to your account at photobucket.com and click on the little (unlocked) lock icon next to the title of your library. A screen will come up that allows you to choose that your library/album be "private."
Log out of your photo bucket account and then click on one of your pictures on the forum. Instead of linking back to your photobucket.com library, it will present a message that the album/library is "private."
Does this help your privacy concerns?
