My top two coils are the stock 10.5" coil, the other and my favorite is the 6" x9" coil. The 6" x9" is amazingly deep, and handles sites with iron extreamly well in ore mode. Fares about the same with large iron as compared with a Deus, smaller iron maybe the Deus has a slight edge for first time users with the v6...Eventually, uses with the v6 will learn to avoid most iron as I did took me a while to understand Blisstool. V5 and now the v6 have improved iron discrimination at least that is what I've noticed comparing to a v3 which was my first Blisstool, currently have a v5 and v6.

I have a Deus, and both fare so close on separation its scarely. However, It's because of the new ore mode feature with the v6. The only draw back is new users to a v6 may have a differcult time understanding ore mode, some may not. I didn't but thats only because been using detectors a long time in areas thick with iron.

The benefit of having a v6, It's both one deep detector in regular soil mode maybe the deepest VLF on the planet. Second it has the new Ore mode which is the same as Reactivity on the Deus and this new mode turns the v6 into one lighting fast detector.

Is the v6 for everyone? No..But for those that are serious relic hunters many will see the benefit of having a v6, does well in both deep finds or in the thick of iron.

Amazing detector, just a matter of time others will be saying the same once they experience what I've been seeing these past several months.

All the best,
Paul

Will Penny....................... and that's the 'norm' for patents. Well stated.........and...... good example. Primary reason: "You got the patent to protect your IP......... but now you don't know how to monetize and market the concept/product."

The new T2 in FA mode with sharpshooter coil. It's amazing. I really need to try it with the 5" coil in FA.

Discrimination is the root of all evil.

I am using a v3i with success but I have a racer due here tuesday. I will let you know what I field test in some iron riddled areas.

Well,
I'll comment here again.

I have not run all machines,,but I think I see a trend though.

Deus for whatever reason,,and I highly suspect Xp Goldmaxx falls in here too.

The Deus seems to be able to when it comes off of say nail points--- has a much less tendency to high tone false,, or as much--- making audio more intelligent in nail ridden sites.

I mean a super performing detector in iron-- many different facets have to be there,,,like separation, unmasking,,audio quality,,how the audio transitions as the detector sees different items with different conductivity (( even different nails have different conductivity)), actually possesses capability for more real time reporting, handle mineral well, etc

And this mineral handling I mention--- may not actually get the credit is deserves,,when construed with just how good the Deus does in iron laden sites.

Any old beat up ratty lookin Tesoro with a hot 9 volt will lay a hurting on a lot of "modern" machines. When my old Bandido II with the brown donut coil, trumped my Nokta Fors CoRe with the little OOR coil, on some "in the test garden" challenges, I sold it and never missed it. The Nokta was a little deeper, and had a headlight on it. That's about it. drinking smiley

It's a lot easier for me to pick out a good signal when there isn't a chirp-grunt and a grunt-chirp and a bunch of jibberish blinking on a screen....just listen for a half decent solid tone and dig. smoking smiley

Well Stated.
