Im watching an old James Cagney movie from 1933 what's this coin?

I love watching old movies just for this reason..

Thank goodness for live T.V. pause and rewind LOL..

They caught him gambling on the job in the scene..

The coins were just a flash on the screen but I caught them all the same ..

anyways I see the Mercury Dime on top and I see a Standing liberty but what's the coin under the Merc???

looks like I see a liberty pole with cap on top?

this is 1933 filming.This is why I love to watch old movies...I like the prop's!!!

The two coins under the merc are both slq's. The first one is the obverse side, the next one is the reverse side.

Looks like a Washington quarter to me.

The dice are more interesting, always a 7, would guaranty getting your butt kicked...LOL

Kieth, I do the same thing, and I like old movies, 1920 to 1940, drives my wife mad stopping the movie, looks like a Barber quarter, did they make a pole quarter,

The 6 stars on the right hand side of the coin tell me it is a SLQ.

Yes I saw the Stars up the side of the podium ,...I figure it s a SLQ...

what gets me is the wear that it has for a coin that could at most be ony 17 years old...
