I use the Blue Book of United States coins for reference. Can someone point me to a be all end all book of coins that you prefer?
Also is there a good relic book out there...maybe a civil war book of relics (one with minnie ball ID)? What ID books do you guys or gals use?
Thanks.

Hey Ozzie,
A good minie ball ID book I use is "A Handbook of Civil War Bullets & Cartridges" by James E. Thomas and Dean S. Thomas. It's in paperback and fairly cheap. It's a good reference book I use all the time. Now for Relic ID's I have a nice little Library Collection of books that help me ID all kinds of stuff like...buttons, bullets, plates and all sorts of dug artifacts.

Current e-bay prices are a good indication....and is a good start..... for value of coins/relics.
