Tom, My present 1021 cz3d with an 8 inch coil only goes to approx.8.5 to 9 inches depth.Am considering a 10.5 inch replacement. Should I expect a noticable improvement in depth??? Thanks

You should gain (on average) about 1.5" on a dime.
